After stepping away from ufology, Utke turned his attention to the crossroads of science and religion. Troubled by climate change and the societal issues stemming from unchecked technological progress, he sought to bridge the widening gap between spirituality and science. As a career chemistry professor, he developed a philosophy advocating for balance between the two to guide humanity’s future.
